About me

I am an experienced journalist specialising in travel and wellness. I've sailed across Malawi in a catamaran, ridden horseback across Iceland and been spun like a salad leaf in Virgin Galactic's Spaceport in New Mexico.

I've interviewed a colourful array of characters from Hollywood Oscar-winners to rock 'n' roll fashion designers and spend a significant amount
of time face down in spas.

Titles I write for include: Tatler, National Geographic Traveller, Telegraph, House & Garden, Sunseeker and Quintessentially.

In an online capacity, I contribute to Telegraph Ultratravel, PorterThe Arbuturian, The Luxury Spa Edit and Little London. I'm also a UK correspondent for the online travel & tech publication Click.

A regular face at Vogue House, I provide editing, subbing and writing services in print and digital and have a broad SEO copywriting client base (Proof Content, Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, Condé Nast Digital to name a few). If you need a helping hand with your written materials, get in touch!

I have a BSc in Natural Sciences from Durham University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Periodical Journalism from City University, London. I started my career at the Fulham Chronicle newspaper covering news and arts then went on to work as an entertainment journalist at BBC Worldwide.

After five years at the Beeb, I went freelance and hopped the pond to Los Angeles. From my base in the Hollywood Hills, I filed stories to Grazia, Marie Claire, Total Film and The Sunday Times and shared my red carpet escapades in a column
for TV Hits.

Returning to London in 2006, I landed at Quintessentially magazine. With the tagline 'accessing the inaccessible', the ultra-luxe quarterly served as a launchpad for my travel writing career – Jordan, Shanghai and Madagascar among my early commissions.

One of my biggest achievements has been spearheading a dedicated wellness section in Travel Weekly's luxury magazine Aspire, which earned me my moniker the 'Spa Goddess'.

I currently live in S.W. London with my husband and two daughters and, yes, I have a manuscript tucked away in a desk drawer – so if you're a literary agent looking for a dazzling new author, feel free to hit me up.
