Leo is a London-based freelance journalist who specialises in travel and wellness. She's sailed across Malawi in a catamaran, ridden horseback across Iceland and been spun like a salad leaf at Spaceport America, New Mexico. She's interviewed a colourful array of characters from Hollywood Oscar-winners to rock 'n' roll fashion designers, and spends a significant portion of time face down in the spa.
Publications she contributes to include Tatler, Sunday Times Travel Magazine, House & Garden, Quintessentially and Sunseeker.
In an online capacity, Leo writes for Telegraph Ultratravel, Porter, The Arbuturian, The Luxury Spa Edit and Little London. She is also a UK correspondent for the online travel & tech publication Click.
Leo is a regular face at Vogue House where she offers editing and writing services to a number of titles. She also has a broad copywriting client base including Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, Condé Nast Digital and One Luxury Marketing.
Leo has a post-graduate diploma in journalism from City University in London and is a member of the NUJ. She started her career at The Fulham Chronicle and went on to work as an entertainment editor at BBC Worldwide. In 2004 she went freelance and moved to Los Angeles, filing copy to various publications including Grazia, Marie Claire, Total Film and The Sunday Times, and sharing her misadventures in a column for TV Hits entitled 'I Love LA'. Leo returned to London in 2006 to graze new pastures in wellness and travel, working part-time at Quintessentially magazine and spearheading a dedicated spa section in Aspire magazine. Today, in between assignments and copywriting projects, she is working on her first novel.
